Born in Dusseldorf, Germany, I manage my own studio for web and graphic design there for almost 20 years.

I live in Dusseldorf in the Niederkassel district. In addition to the only Japantown in Germany, there is a cultural center of the Japanese community (EKŌ-Haus) with a Japanese temple in a beautifully landscaped Japanese garden.
My fascination with Japanese culture and art was awakened.

For several years now I have been studying Japanese ink painting (Sumi-e) with my Sensei Malgorzata Olejniczak and Japanese calligraphy (Shodo) with Rie Wada in the EKŌ-Haus.
